Director’s Message
Welcome to TigerEDGE!
TigerEDGE is a two-year, non-degree residential transition program designed to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism. Our comprehensive approach offers personalized support tailored to the unique needs and skills of individuals aged 18-26.
By providing person-centered, inclusive learning experiences and fostering a sense of choice and
belonging, TigerEDGE empowers participants to transition successfully into independent adulthood. Our mission is to enhance quality of life through the development of essential social skills, academic abilities, and career readiness.
Individuals accepted into TigerEDGE will have the opportunity to participate in a maximum of 13 credit hours per semester and a minimum of 12 credit hours. This includes two audited inclusive college courses, EDGE-specific courses, and our speech pathology sessions, TigerSPEAK. We believe that successful completion of the TigerEDGE program, which is a cohort model, equips students with the necessary soft skills and knowledge to become productive citizens and achieve successful employment.
Stay tuned for when the next application date will open in 2026! Please do NOT apply before the application open date. Any applications received before the date will not be accepted.
